The 15th annual Cruisin’ the Coast is back! More than 7000 classic cars will converge on the Mississippi Gulf Coast for a week of parades, drag races, swap meets, and headline entertainment all along the Gulf Coast. Car enthusiasts parade their antique, classic, hot rods & custom vehicles across the Coast on Highway 90 with entertainment provided at designated stops in every city along the way. Cruisin’ the Coast is truly a signature event.
One reason to make your way to downtown Ocean Springs is to sample some first class cuisine while you take in the sights. A few restaurants we highly recommend: Maison Du Lu on Washington Avenue serves the best pork chop you have ever had, and their house specialty drink, home made Blackberry Margaritas. Washington Avenue Diner is a new favorite, with homemade breakfast all day long, and down home cooking – think POT ROAST on Sunday! If sushi is your thing, Chef Scott’s Sushi on Government Street has sashimi that is fresh off the boats. And, if gourmet food is what you want, try Vestige, a farm-to-table concept with creative seasonal flavors.
